Working With Our Beliefs

Many of us hold a belief that our fate is determined by our external conditions and that the things we need are "out there," which is the reverse of how life really works. We find ourselves in constant struggle against the natural order of the universe, and it wears us down. Even the most spiritually adept leaders find ourselves in this same problem.

It is a belief that looks like this: We are born blank slates, empty shells, and must make something of ourselves, internally and externally. We must seek the knowledge, resources, and support systems we need to achieve this in the outside world, from other people, in other places, or even from higher powers to bestow upon us; that it's hard to get to and so we must find ourselves conforming to cultural, societal, or religious norms to get them. This often means we must struggle at something we don't love for most of our lives and engage in a religious practice that gives us more guilt than good, so we can save enough money to start living our life and accrue enough karmic good to have a good afterlife, only to die before we ever get to live.

No matter if you consciously buy into that B.S (Belief System) or not, you're probably living inside of it to some degree because it is part of the collective consciousness in the western world and beyond. What we have to truly grasp about this is that it appears stable on the outside but in truth it operates in exact opposition to the harmony of the universe. So walking this path ultimately leads us to more struggle, stress, suffering, and limitation.

So how do we remedy this? Now that we have this pattern out in the open, it gives us a map that we can use to begin to harness the power of the universe. Once you start to look at this from the perspective of Mother Nature, you can unveil how to drop back into the ease and flow of your life so that you can grow with ease as you were intended to.

The Law of The Acorn

When we look at an acorn, it's not an empty shell that has had to struggle, figure out how life works, gather a bunch of information so that it can eventually grow up. NO!

It comes with EVERYTHING it needs to grow into a massive Oak. No matter the opinion of other trees in the forest, the acorn will never become anything but the blueprint deep inside it. It doesn't have to ask who it is, or its purpose. It had those answers before it was even planted in the earth.

The Principle of Correspondence, a Hermetic law, states, "As above, so below, as within, so without." This means that whatever happens on one aspect of reality will always happen on every other level. Everything is perfectly connected, from the smallest bacteria to the largest star.

So taking this concept even deeper, it's easy to understand that there is really just one ultimate reality, it's just being perceived from many different angles, levels, and lenses. This has been brought to light by many great thinkers, such as Albert Einstein, when he spoke on how the same processes that show up in nature show up in other areas of our lives, creating the Unified Field Theory. For many natural laws, there is often a parallel moral, scientific, and spiritual law that mirrors it.

A beautiful example of this can be found in electricity. The positive and negative charge that conduct a current in electricity are similar to the masculine and feminine that must come together to create new life, or the hemispheres of the brain and its functions. Even the concept of yin and yang in Chinese philosophy, medicine, and science sheds light on some of the dual

This quote encapsulates the idea of balance and unity that persists in all things, and it is this fundamental principle that can guide us as we strive to reach our full potential.

Just as an acorn contains the perfect blueprint to grow an oak tree, we too possess everything we need to fulfill our destiny, locked deep inside our souls. This blueprint, or fully realized self, exists completely independent from the outside world and already possesses the power to manifest whatever it needs.

How Does it Work?

We can see this principle at work in the lives of children, who, without any guidance or

direction, take a deep fascination in things that don't reflect any other influence. It's something beautiful and unique that takes form inside of them. For example, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart became a master pianist and violinist at the age of four and created his first symphony at five, and Leonardo da Vinci, whose parents had nothing to do with the arts, went on to create beautiful and world-renowned masterpieces.

Sometimes, we may notice a behavior emerge from people, particularly children, that seems to indicate an inner conflict. On some level, they are sensing the great destiny before them but don't have the ability to navigate or deal with it, sometimes resulting in what we label as behavioral issues.

This can lead to a tendency to try to "heal" these perceived behavioral problems through traditional psychology rather than recognizing them as possible expressions of their inner destiny. How many geniuses have been suppressed because they were not understood? What wonders could have been created if people weren't forced to conform to certain norms?

Even if you have fallen into this pattern, it does not mean that you cannot easily return to that inner seed. You have the opportunity every day to revisit the aspects of your character that have been present since childhood and discover who you really are.

The signs have always been there. Look at the things you would spend your time doing as a child, or are still interested in today. The things that make you seemingly step out of time and lose track of your day. People you admire, things you read, favorite movies, anything that can tap you back into that time, that feeling, that energy.

The truth is, life is and has always been conspiring in your favor for your awakening and fulfillment. We just sometimes require different conditions, environments, and experiences to truly activate that growth. Some of the greatest challenges you have faced may have created the perfect conditions for your growth and development.

So, how can we tap into this inner seed and unlock our full potential? Here are a few action steps you can take to get back into alignment:

• Reflect on your childhood interests and passions. What did you spend your time doing? What were you interested in? Try to tap back into that feeling and energy.

• Identify the people you admire and what you admire about them. How can you incorporate their qualities and values into your own life?

• Take a closer look at the things you consume, whether it's the news, social media, or the people you surround yourself with. Are they in alignment with your values and your vision for yourself? If not, it's time to make some changes.

• Journal about your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. This will help you identify patterns and incongruences that may be holding you back.

• Practice mindfulness and meditation. These techniques will help you stay present and attuned to your inner voice and intuition.
